Processing invoices has become a breeze.

Lund Gruppen, established in 1895, is one of Europe’s oldest entertainment companies. With the module for invoice in eye-share Workflow the employees spend less time on manual work and has more time to play.

Lund Gruppen has served millions of people with entertainment and experiences through 120 years. Today the company operates the amusement park Kongeparken, Lunds Tivoli and Lund Gruppen Arrangement (events) with 1.2 million visitors every year. This generates 5000 invoices annually.

The invoices were spread across multiple locations and many people, Chief Accountant in Lund Gruppen Kristian H. Rasmussen recalls. He was involved in the process when eye-share Invoice was implemented in 2009.

It was very challenging – almost impossible – to keep track of the papers from Lunds Tivoli which travels 75 % of the year. We also have several people who travel for weeks at a time to courses, conferences and other amusement parks in USA, Europe, and Asia, and the paperwork would pile up as a result. Today people can approve invoices from anywhere in the world, and it just works. Not least the reminder function; if you don’t handle your invoices, you will get an email, which is very efficient. The whole process is on a completely different level now, Rasmussen says.

Many solutions in the market are “set” without the opportunities to adjust while Eye-share is very configurable with consultants who can adapt the solution to our needs. If we in the future want to adjust, we know it is possible to achieve.

Focus on development

Rasmussen believes Eye-share’s focus on development is key, and Lund Gruppen plans to upgrade to the latest version of eye-share Workflow Invoice.

We looked at solutions to streamline and gain control and structure on incoming invoices, and Eye-share stood out on several levels. We have focused on improvements in our organization and appreciate Eye-share’s focus to develop new and better solutions. In addition, Eye-share has a great attitude towards tailoring their products to the customer. Many solutions in the market are “set” without the opportunities to adjust while Eye-share is very configurable with consultants who can adapt the solution to our needs. If we in the future want to adjust, we know it is possible to achieve, Rasmussen says.

Lund Gruppen has 25 employees that use eye-share regularly. Everyone uses Mac as a platform.

We changed the accounting system in 2013 and got offered a document center as part of the package, but we made a conscious decision to keep Eye-share, Rasmussen explains.

More time for fun and games

With offices in the amusement park Kongeparken, fun and games are never far away.

They are experiencing a lot less reminders and everything is processed instantly in eye-share. The system is also easy to learn, and new employees just need basic training. The extensive user documentation also contributes to this. In total, eye-share feels like a solid product, Rasmussen says.

eye-share Invoice has greatly reduced the risk of errors, he explains.

Usually, one accountant had to add data manually before it was sent to the bank. Now, the invoices are scanned and interpreted automatically, but if an error occur, you still have two approvers and one accountant who can check the numbers. If two people check the numbers in the bank as well, there are five people who make sure the numbers are correct. It wasn’t like this at all before. The risk of errors was very high, Rasmussen says.

Lund Gruppen Holding AS was established in 1997 and currently consists of three main companies: Rogaland Fritidspark (Leisure Park), Lunds Tivoli and Lund Gruppen Arrangement (Event Management). The company can be traced back to 1895 when Hakon Jaeger Lund first established Lunds Tivoli. The company has annual sales of about 131 MNOK (16.5 million USD), 127 FTEs, 400 seasonal workers in addition to full-time employees, and 1.2 million guests annually in Norway.
