This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a passionate, and experienced technology leader with the capability to propel our cutting-edge AP and P2P software Suite into a new phase of growth, worldwide.

The role’s purpose is to drive technological development and foster innovation, ensuring a successful commercialization of the eye-share software suite, and to lead and motivate a team of over 30 high-performing resources.

At the core of your position is the responsibility to organize, implement, and carry out long-term plans, manage and inspire the R&D team and staff, and handle important operational decisions on a daily basis.

An important part of the role is to ensure that our goals are reflected in the product development and technical operations, both from a strategic and operational perspective.

Additionally, the position plays a pivotal role as an ambassador to effectively communicate new innovations, trends, and product development plans, both internally and externally.

The role is part of Eye-share’s management team and reports directly to the CEO.

Strategic leadership and business development:
  • Develop and implement R&D long-term strategies, operational plans, and roadmaps in collaboration with the management team.
  • Ensure that product development activities align with the company’s business objectives, goals, and market demands.
Team leadership and development:
  • Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing R&D team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Responsible for recruiting new staff and developing team members.
Technological development and innovation:
  • Lead the development of new products, processes, and technologies at a strategic level.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration within the organization to promote innovation and efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to understand customer needs and align overall product development accordingly.
Budget and resource management:
  • Develop and manage the R&D department’s budget.
  • Optimize resource utilization to maximize ROI on research and development activities.
  • Report progress and results to management.

Qualifications and Personal Qualities

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in product development, project management, and leadership.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and drive a team towards common goals.
  • Innovative thinking with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex projects.
  • Commitment to a culture of success through recognition and innovation.
  • Strong communication skills to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and to communicate trends, new innovations, and product plans, to the market.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.
